Photo policy
Photography is a mainstay of any newspaper and the same holds
true for the Wapakoneta Daily News. The following policy has
been established, and is in effect immediately, to protect the
Wapakoneta Daily News employees and its products and property.
All photographs taken by employees of the Wapakoneta Daily News
are considered the property of the Wapakoneta Daily News. To
protect that property, the newspaper retains the rights to all
jpegs taken while employees are on the job; jpeg versions of
photographs will not be available for sale or loan to the
general public.
Photographic prints of images taken by WDN staff will be offered
for sale and are visible through the newspaper itself and/or the
WDN’s website: www.wapakdailynews.com.
Purchasers of these prints will be asked to sign a waiver
indicating that these images are for personal use only and will
not be used in any commercial venture.
Only the publisher may authorize any deviation from this policy.
